We're looking for pieces that are no longer than 10 minutes in length with a cast size no larger than 6 to take part in our first GrimFest scratch night of the year on 16th March 2026 at the Old Red Lion theatre in Islington.
Scratch nights are a great way to test out new work, whether it's the seed of an idea, or a section of an already fully formed piece! We welcome all and any types of performance, as long as it comes under the category of GRIM!
Our previous scratch nights have always been really popular and regularly sell out. We welcome fellow creatives to come along and watch the fantastic pieces that get showcased at our GrimFest scratch nights.
Many of the pieces that perform at these nights go on to have fully fledged runs at GrimFest and beyond!
However, we also welcome theatre and horror fans alike to these events. It's always a fun and relaxed evening, and all the proceeds of your ticket cost goes towards funding the festival in October.
