After the worlds water disappears, two sole survivors on a Victorian British Navy vessel hold onto their sanity by re-enacting the rituals of their sea-faring past. Their odd reverie is dashed however, when a mysterious stranger climbs aboard seeking refuge.

Whilst in training she also took part in Southwark’s local drama community ‘The People’s Company’, where she had a chance to perform at (the now extinct) Coronet Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe. After some years of performing in various Fringe theatre productions, she wanted to try her hand at writing, and so penned her first play ‘The Drought’ which was then submitted and won the London Horror Festival’s playwriting competition in October 2021.

Chloe predominantly works on new writing, object theatre and as a facilitator for drama and storytelling workshops. Chloe has just come back from Zimbabwe where she was the Adjudicator at the National Institute of Allied Arts Speech and Drama Festival. Chloe recently directed Twigs a newly commissioned piece by Hannah Kennedy for the University of Chichester’s Graduating BA (Acting) class.

Julia Sullivan is a South African artist and fabricator living and working in London. Her interests lie in sculpture, paint, collage and printmaking. One of her most notable works included assisting Jon Wreal in creating a ten-meter tall sculpture of the Zimbabwean balancing rocks. She has worked on theatre productions in the West End, immersive experiences and films across the UK.

Heléna is best known for playing ‘Bonkers Bridget’, or otherwise known as ‘The Keeper of the Heads’ at The London Bridge Experience. Heléna has been thrilled to be involved with The Drought. The company means a lot to her and she loves spending her time with what she describes as an amazing group of people.

Jack is a recent graduate of RADA, having left six months prior to the COVID pandemic. Hailing from the lands of Stroud, Gloucestershire, he spent much of his time at the local Cotswold Playhouse before writing and directing for Stroud's annual theatre festival. Educated at Rose Bruford drama school, he trained and honed in on his craft during a B.A. Acting course. He would also return to writing in his third year, writing and starring as Billy in his first short film, Guests of Sunshine, directed by Matthew Butler-Hart.
